A separate Time in Status permission for viewing issue view screen tab on Jira Cloud


Until today, when Time in Status was installed on a Jira Cloud instance, all users were able to see the Time in Status tab on issue view screens. This was causing a problem for some customers so we made an improvement. This weeks release introduces a new permission in the Access Settings page which allows Jira admins to select which users can see the Time in Status tab on issue view screens.

The default setting for the new permission will ve “Everyone can view” so you won’t notice a difference unless you explicitly use this setting.
